We opened the Big Wooden Door of our showroom in the fashionable enclave known as "between the commons" (Battersea Rise near Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common) in 2004. We were bored by the stale and stagnant trends of the big stores, who offered clients nothing but mass-produced furniture made of melamine board. Loungin's aim was to offer people something unique and refreshing.

Our philosophy was to create a furniture boutique that oozed individuality and creativity. This ethos carries through into every product. Quality, individuality and unique design ensure that each piece of furniture is made with the closest attention to detail, total durability and ultimately, the wow factor! Not throw away or gimmick furniture, but furniture that is made of real, durable woods.
