General Terms

Loungin’ terms and conditions apply to all transactions that occur on this website. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Loungin’ shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this Web site. You must not use this website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of Loungin’s terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this Web site, however we cannot guarantee uninterrupted and totally reliable access to this Web site, and therefore can not guarantee that the information will always be completely up to date and free of mistakes.

We endeavour to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on this website are correct when the information is entered onto the system. We aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, but the information, including product descriptions may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. As each product is individually handmade to order, the exact positioning of the fabric pattern may differ to the photograph on our website.

We make every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours slightly differently therefore, colours may differ from what you see on the screen. We are happy to send out up to 5 free swatches of fabric before you place an order – this allows you to check the colour. All orders and special offers are subject to availability, including executive editions.

We also reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery times and after-sales service. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit card account in the value of monies paid (including any incurred delivery charges.

Whilst we hope you will be delighted with your order, if you do have any reason to complain, please put all complaints in writing including the date of your order, name and address and send to sales@loungin.co.uk. We will acknowledge receipt of you complaint within 5 working days and deal with it in an appropriate, honest and prompt manner. We shall make every effort to advise you of the timescale in dealing with your complaint. We shall keep you informed throughout the process of dealing with your complaint.

Order Terms

You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the ‘buy’ button at the end of the check-out process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the web-site. We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance. By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying said goods (including passing your personal details onto couriers & other subcontractors). Personal details can be removed from our database by written request. No property or title of the goods shall pass from Loungin’ to the customer until payment has been received in full.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our terms & conditions.

Payment Terms

The price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. As previously stated should the price change or be incorrect the contract is void and must be restarted by you the consumer. All prices on our website are exclusive of VAT and delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order, depending on promotions at the time.

Loungin’ accepts most major credit and debit cards Visa/Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch and Maestro. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. However, we reserve the right to deliver only to the cardholders billing address. You may be asked to provide us with proof of your address at anytime. If you refuse to provide us with this evidence, your order will be cancelled. This is to prevent credit card fraud as use of stolen credit cards will result in the appropriate police/authority being notified and we do take court action in all cases.

All prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges as set out in the delivery section of this website. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the payment section of this website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account once a delivery date has been agreed. You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.

Delivery Terms

Charges will be calculated by our shopping basket automatically for online orders. If your order is returned to us undelivered due to circumstances beyond our control you will be held responsible for all re-shipping costs. All orders are shipped in appropriate strong packaging. We advise you to ensure somebody be present at the delivery address since all items require a signature upon delivery. As soon as the goods are delivered and signed for they become your responsibility. If your goods do not arrive within 7 working days please call or e-mail us to confirm your order has been shipped and that we have your correct delivery address details. At present Loungin only offer delivery of products to the Billing address. Normal delivery time after dispatch is approximately next working day (by post). Van delivery takes approximately 2 – 7 days, and will be booked in directly with a separate contractor. It is your responsibility to make certain that items purchased will fit through access routes into your home. In the event of a sofa purchase unable to gain entry to your property please contact us immediately to arrange for a team of experts who can help. Additional charges apply. POA In the event that you make a purchase that can not be delivered, you will be liable for inbound and return shipping, insurance, customs, (where applicable) plus (for in stock items) 30% restocking fee or if that item is made to order, no refund will be available.

Cancellation Terms

It is your responsibility to return any such items in a flawless saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Changes can only be accepted within a 14 day period after order has been made.

Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. The cancellation must be put into writing and received within a 7-day period.

Once your item has been paid for manufacturing is under taken. All items are handmade and any changes in your order will incur charges a 50% charge for cancellations. We cannot offer refunds on made-to-order goods unless the product is faulty and an exception is made. The timescale of made-to-order goods will be confirmed by email after the order is placed as it will depend upon availability of fabric. Even though we give an approximate delivery time we can not make a full refund unless a 14 week period has passed, this may be due to circumstance that we can not control i.e. Shortage of supplier materials or holiday periods that occur from supplying country. Should the estimated delivery time be too long we can cancel your order and refund you in full, we will need you to advise us of this by email ASAP.
